Can you get the 1042r with a laser eye safe film on the lens for military applications?

What is the difference between the T1042r and the T1042?
Is the T1042R still made? I saw a pair at a precision rifle match. The are perfect for those events. There are very limited options of good 10x binos with a reticle. I can find the T1042 without the reticle, but cannot find with a reticle.
Excellent set of binoculars. Been using for a month or so and love them. Where is the glass made? Is this US made? German made? I'm working on a YouTube review as we speak and would like to include this information.
